I like this Buddhist parable about Buddha. It has variations of it but the gist of it is all the same. An angry Man came upon Buddha as he was teaching and insulted him continuously. Buddha did not respond. The man talked until he ran out of things to say. Buddha asked him if someone offers you a gift and you refuse it to whom then does that gift belong to. The angry man said well I guess it belongs to the********** who offered it.
