We're close to Christmas and I'm trying to send greetings so merry Christmas if you care.

I like this Buddhist parable about Buddha. It has variations of it but the gist of it is all the same. An angry Man came upon Buddha as he was teaching and insulted him continuously. Buddha did not respond. The man talked until he ran out of things to say. Buddha asked him if someone offers you a gift and you refuse it to whom then does that gift belong to. The angry man said well I guess it belongs to the one who offered it.

This is something I have seen discussed. Do you think men and women can be truly friends without it being complicated by a desire for Romance or such? There was a guy who wrote an article and he concluded that they could not be because of attraction. I really think that from what he was saying that he was just using friendship as a "Trojan Horse "to try and get a relationship with her what do you think about this.?

Do you ever think that maybe if you had said something different you would have kept a correspondence going?

I'm curious what is your opinion about artificial intelligence and do you use it?

In the U.S. it has become more common to use fist bumps instead of an ordinary handshake.If you don't knowa fist bump is clenching the hand into a fist and touching the knuckles together with someone.I am not sure ifhas ever been done in more formal situations but I really think a handshake is more appropriate esp. In formal situations. What do you think? Has the fist bump become common in your country?

Why do some people on here want to go on WhatsApp or something and they don't even want to try and see if we have a connection on here first. That would seem to me the smart thing to do.

I'm thinking today a little more clearly about something that has trouble made for quite some time. When we have someone who is important to us sometimes it is alonly an illusion so when they let us down we're disappointed. We mourn them for what we think they were and when it turns out to be a lie we wrestle with the illusion until we realize it's true that they never cared about us anyway. When we come to this realization we are free.

Who what when where why and how. So here's a question what if most of us in the more affluent parts of the world did just a little bit to help end world hunger what kind of impact would that leave?

The problem they are trying to solvethinking about something and giving it proper evaluation is not unproductive it's how we get new and better ideas. Just remember that we live in a world than frowns on Independencet thought and telling the truth about certain things.

What do you think about the term nover thinking? I think it is largely a manipulative ploy to discourage people from thinking for themselves. While I am sure the person who came up with the term initially had good intentions I think it has become a tactic for stopping independent thought. I acknowledge that staying stuck on a negative thought loop is bad for people and it contaminated their thinking and prevents productive solutions to the probem
