China

Hi, I'm from Beijing, China.I tend to be a calm and reflective person, and I don't always fit the expectations society has for “typical” girls. I love reading, thinking, watching movies, and exploring all kinds of knowledge. I hope to meet friends through letters with whom I can discuss topics we are passionate about—things that make life feel truly beautiful.

This platform seems a bit unsuitable for me, because what I'm good at is exceeding 450 words. 😂

Why do scammers seem like their prefrontal cortex has been removed?🤔 It makes our conversations so boring. I usually have to go out of my way to give you the confidence that you haven't been found out. But when I have plenty of time, I'll play along with you. Still, it's no fun – it's like a hunter pretending to be prey, just dull. I really want to advise you to read more books. You guys really ruin the game for me. 😭

I want to share one of my favorite poems:
"Under One Small Star" by Wislawa Szymborska
Even though our first meeting was through Chinese,
My soul—still—could not hold back its tears.

As a text chime from beneath the pillow quantically tunneled through the buckwheat hulls directly into my eardrums, my head dragged my upper body, snapping up in an instant. Right at this moment, the aftershocks of 'the sky has fallen' are rippling through my chest. How can a human, without any master, achieve such a flawless mastery of The Startled Cat?

In China, we have an old saying: 'Among any three people walking together, one can be my teacher.' So my wish here is to make 9 friends — that way I'll have 9 good friends and 3 teachers. Am I being too greedy?
